Prepared by: Charity Helpers Foundation
Date: 2025-06-14
Version: 1.0

---

**CONCEPT SUMMARY**
Mirror Relay is a coordination challenge where players must mirror their partner's movements through a set obstacle course. It emphasizes symmetry, focus, and non-verbal teamwork.

---

**REQUIRED EQUIPMENT**

- Two side-by-side identical obstacle paths
- Cones, balance beams, hoops, ladders, and jump markers
- Stopwatch and whistle
- Judging criteria sheets for synchronization accuracy
- Reflective barrier (optional for added realism)

---

**FIELD LAYOUT**

- Two mirrored lanes marked with identical challenges
- Starting and ending lines
- Judges positioned to observe from both sides

---

**PLAYER ROLES**

- Teams of 2 players (Leader and Mirror)
- 2–3 judges to evaluate sync and penalties
- 1 timer official

---

**GAME OBJECTIVE**

Successfully complete the mirrored obstacle course with maximum synchronization and minimal penalties.

---

**BASIC RULES**

1. Teams begin on opposite sides of the mirrored course.
2. Leader chooses movement patterns through the course.
3. Mirror must follow simultaneously and precisely.
4. Speaking or signaling is not allowed.
5. Judges deduct points for:
   - Missed or reversed movement
   - Timing mismatches
   - Missed obstacles
6. Fastest synchronized team wins.

---

**VARIATIONS / SCALING IDEAS**

- **Timed Light Cues**: Mirror must respond to changing light commands
- **Silent Dance Relay**: Add rhythm and motion fluidity for extra points
- **Blind Mirror**: The mirror wears foggy goggles and relies on instinct
- **Obstacle Switch Mid-Run**: Courses randomly switch halfway

---

**STAT TRACKING SUGGESTIONS**

- Total sync score
- Course completion time
- Penalties by category
- Judge consensus deviation
- Best motion segment

---

**NOTES**
Mirror Relay challenges both physical skill and intuitive connection between teammates. It’s ideal for youth camps, trust-building exercises, and community sports festivals. Great fun for spectators too!
